Can the student request for as many contact numbers of tutors as he wishes?
No. We have limited the number of contact numbers of tutors to be requested to 3 per subject every year.
What happens if I wish to receive more contact numbers of tutors?
We believe having contact numbers of 3 tutors per subject every year would fulfil your needs completely. However, if you still do need more numbers you can do so by paying a small fee per number. Even here, there would be a restriction. After a few numbers and you won’t be able to request more numbers in that subject till next year even if you do wish to pay for them.
How quickly do I receive the numbers of tutors requested?
We usually share the contact numbers of the tutors within 24-48 hours by email.
Do I need to request the contact numbers of tutors I select all together?
No. You can request their numbers separately as and when required.
What role Select Your Tutor plays after sharing the tutor contact number with me?
Once the tutor contact number is shared, Select Your Tutor moves out of the scene completely. Now you are free to get in touch with the tutor directly and decide upon the tuition with him.
Am I supposed to pay any kind of membership fee to keep availing this facility next year?
The facility to contact tutors directly without any interference is permanent. You need not pay anything ever to us.
Am I eligible for other offers from Select Your Tutor if I don’t avail the services of tutors?
You are eligible for offers from Select Your Tutor as long as you are registered on the website. Your not availing the services of tutors won’t have any impact on that.
How do I know the quality of teaching by the tutor?
We would suggest you to ask for a demo class – online or offline first and then decide.
What if the tutor demands the fees in advance and I am not sure of paying this?

Though we request you to cross check every claim of the tutor, we also go for a thorough cross check of their claims. Once, done we out a ‘verified’ stamp on their profile.

Select Your Tutor shares your number directly with the student. It is upto the student to get in touch with you.
Who and how will I get my fees?
The student would be handing over the complete fees to you directly. Select Your Tutor won’t be involved in this in anyway.
What is the guarantee that I would receive the fee from the student as decided?

Select Your Tutor provides no guarantee as it is totally upto the student to search and select you. Because of this we would encourage you to make your profile as much descriptive and upto date as possible. We however, do promote your availability on www.selectyourtutor.com on the social media.
